The Little Dance Academy offers magical dance classes for children aged 18 months to eight years across London and Hertfordshire. In Notting Hill, Miss Laura leads ballet, tap, “Bop” and drama classes that encourage imagination, creativity and confidence in a safe, nurturing environment. The academy’s mission is to foster a love of dance in every child and to provide high‑quality, imaginative tuition where children are treated with respect and kindness. Classes take place at local venues such as Essex Church and Fit For Life Youth and holiday camps run during school breaks.

The London Academy of Dance is a leading dance school specialising in ballroom and Latin styles and revolutionising fitness and wellness in London. Established in 2007, it offers group and private lessons seven days a week, teaching ballroom, Latin, tango, salsa, bachata and social Latin dances, as well as wedding dance and corporate packages. The school is affiliated with the IDTA and ISTD and holds qualifications in dance teaching. A parent/baby/kids programme provides Mama & Baby Pilates, Baby‑Wearing Dance, Mini Movers (ages 3‑5), Tiny Toes (1.5‑3), Strong Mama strength classes and Little Latin Stars (5‑7), with small class sizes, DBS‑checked instructors and a supportive community.

The London Ballet School

The Place in Camden runs creative dance classes for children and teens aged 3–16. Programmes span contemporary, ballet and creative movement with age‑specific groups from 3–5 up to 15–18. Classes encourage imagination, confidence and physical awareness, and students can join holiday courses and youth platforms.

The Royal Ballet School, founded by Dame Ninette de Valois in 1926, is the leading classical ballet school in the UK. It offers full‑time training programmes from age 12 to 19, including Foundation, Development, Vocational and Pre‑Professional Programmes, which teach the Royal Ballet School system alongside pointe work, character, contemporary, folk, repertoire and conditioning. Admission is based on talent and potential, with most students receiving financial support, and the school has produced internationally renowned dancers and choreographers. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students is a top priority, with a designated safeguarding lead and anonymous reporting platform.

The South London Dance Academy treats each child as an individual, nurturing their enjoyment and development through weekly classes, performances, examinations and enrichment trips. The Tabernacle

Nestled in Wimbledon Village, this friendly school teaches ballet, modern, tap, acrobatics, pointe work and body conditioning for ages 3–16. Classes are run across local halls and encourage discipline, creativity and fitness. Pupils can take RAD and ISTD exams and perform in biennial shows.

The academy encourages creativity, discipline and social confidence while promoting diversity. Pupils can join end-of-term showcases and participate in youth productions staged in the theatre.

Tip Top Dance School is an independent dance school based at the Venture Community Association in Ladbroke Grove. Founded by international dancer Maria Cassar, the school offers classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, creative movement and street dance for children from toddlers through to teens. Lessons progress from pre‑primary and primary levels to graded vocational training, using props and storytelling to develop strength, musicality and creativity. Teachers have professional dance training and experience, ensuring friendly, high‑quality instruction.
