Central School of Ballet is a world‑class centre for professional dance training in London’s South Bank. Established in 1982 by Ann Stannard and Christopher Gable, it offers vocational degree courses validated by the University of Kent alongside a Junior School for ages 3–18, an Associate Programme and adult classes. The school’s Countess of Wessex Studios provide state‑of‑the‑art facilities, and its in‑house syllabus across 11 levels emphasises rhythm, posture and artistry. Junior School classes take place after school on Tuesday to Thursday evenings, with boys’ classes on Wednesdays and trial lessons available; fees are paid termly with discounts and bursaries available.
